TRANSITIONS

Change is inevitable in life. There has come a time where the artwork in metal that I have been creating for over 16 years is changing. Fred and I have been great partners in creating the metal artwork. It is a time that I have treasured. A special time in our relationship designing and collaborating together as a team. Sometimes changes happen not because we want them to, but because they have to. His health the last two years has not been optimal and he can no longer physically support what I do.  

Does an artist ever stop being an artist? Not this one! The love, joy and peace energy that I infuse in my artwork is still there in everything I create.  This new art is pure silk in the raw fibers and strings of silk. Extra color is created using natural pigments from the earth.  This new direction my heart is leading me is experimental as I develop a new way to express my soul.  My whole life goal as an artist has been around weaving the energy of peace, love and joy to enhance the world we live in.  I love the organic feel this new work presents. It feels honest and raw.

As an artist, energy healer, ordained minister, creativity coach, and author, I practice being in a state of peace with everything I do. This is a process of going within and being one with Source energy. I often pray, chant and focus on what peace feels like as I create my art and live everyday. 

Mahatma Gandhi said: “You must be the change you want to see in the world.”  I choose to serve by helping the world find the peace within themselves.
