So many colors, places, details.  My mind is always jumping from one idea to another.  For me this piece represents inspiration points.

An afternoon beach escape from a hot, hot city.  Walking in the surf with my husband.  We both swear we were surrounded by minute baby turtles for a brief time.   True or not, I started thinking about how beautiful turtles shells were.  The same week I had the most surprising and amazing reaction of color as I pulled hot glass cane to make into Murrini at a friend’s studio.  Guess what it reminded me of.   My mind was off and racing with all the possibilities and ideas as these two days and experiences merged and swirled together.
