ARTIST STATEMENT

I am fascinated by animals. They come in a myriad of shapes, textures, and colors. They also express a rainbow of emotions. I try to capture their strength, dignity—and humor. After many years working in oil pastels I have fallen in love with painting.  My studio is in the back of an historic building off of Main Street in Baker City—a town known for its arts and artists.
