ANNE ANDERSON’s Inspiration Point: PEACE IS GOLDEN

Every year my husband I and I travel through the Okanagon highlands of eastern Washington to Lake Roosevelt to go camping.  The landscape is spectacular and one gets the feeling of endless land, endless sky.  The rolling hills, laden with golden wheat, are both sensuous and peaceful - such a contrast to the stormy skies of late summer.  I always wonder if the people who own and farm this land are as awestruck by it’s beauty as those of us driving by.
