TRI FON MARKOV’s Inspiration Point: MUSICIANS

The location helped me a lot when I was creating my new project: Musicians.

During the winter and spring of 2015, I lived in a tiny town in Texas. There was an old forest with lots of lianas -- plant parasites. Lianas were everywhere. They pulled tall and healthy trees down to the ground. The feeling, the atmosphere was one of very great sadness. I should mention that it was raining heavily there, so it seemed like everything was dissolving, running together.
I liked to walk there after the rain stopped pouring and listen to classical music, because I think that only classical music could fit into the whole picture.

The music was everywhere, so I started to create my musicians, who had to express both the feeling of a forest under attack and the music of pouring rain.
